You can find apartments with communal swimming pools in Valencia city, Paterna and Cullera, as well as further along the coast in places such as Moncofa and Benicàssim. Some developments also include communal gardens, a gym, private parking or even wellness facilities.

Where can you buy an apartment with pool in Valencia?
The best place to look depends mainly on what matters most to you.
In Valencia city, apartments with swimming pools are less common, particularly in older and historic neighbourhoods. You’ll mainly find them in new-build developments and more modern residential complexes. The advantage is obvious: you can enjoy city life while still being able to take a dip at home.
In the suburbs surrounding Valencia, there is often more space for larger residential complexes with gardens, swimming pools and other communal facilities. Paterna is a good example.
Along the Valencian coast, the choice is even greater. In coastal towns such as Cullera, Moncofa and Benicàssim, you’ll find various new-build developments where a swimming pool is part of the residential complex. So you can combine the pool with the beach and the Mediterranean Sea.
1. New-build apartment with swimming pool in central Valencia
We start right in Valencia city. This new-build apartment is located in El Botànic, close to the Torres de Quart, the Botanical Garden and the Turia Gardens. It’s a central location, but at home you can still enjoy a communal swimming pool, gardens and a gym.

Would you like to stay close to Valencia city, but prefer a little more space and extra facilities? Then Paterna is worth considering.
This new-build development is being built in the Valterna area of Paterna and offers apartments with two or three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Residents will have access to a communal swimming pool, outdoor areas and a gym.

3. New-build apartment with swimming pool for sale in Moncofa
You’ll also find several interesting new-build developments in Moncofa. This coastal town lies north of Valencia and is much less internationally touristy than many of Spain’s better-known seaside resorts.
This modern development consists of 40 apartments and is being built just around 250 metres from the beach. The homes come with spacious terraces and the complex has a communal swimming pool. A parking space and storage room are included. Completion is currently expected around mid-2027.

In La Punta, a neighbourhood in the southeast of Valencia city, you’ll also find plenty of newer apartments and modern residential complexes with swimming pools.
This penthouse was completed in 2022 and has a private terrace of almost 75 m². From the terrace, you can look towards the sea and the port, and even see the City of Arts and Sciences.
The complex consists of just 31 apartments and has a communal swimming pool. A parking space and storage room are also included. The location is another big plus: you can cycle to the beach in around ten minutes.

At this new-build development in Cullera, the swimming pool will be located on the rooftop, with views towards the Mediterranean Sea. Not a bad place for a swim! Cullera has kilometres of sandy beaches and a seafront promenade that remains lively throughout the year. Its location between Valencia city and the Costa Blanca is also very convenient, with good connections by both car and train.

Beach or swimming pool? That’s the question at this small-scale new-build development in Benicàssim, as you’ll have both almost on your doorstep.

With Valencia’s hot summers, we completely understand why a swimming pool might be somewhere near the top of your wish list. As you can see, there is plenty of choice, although the type of properties available varies quite a bit depending on the area.
If you want to live right in Valencia city, you’ll usually need to search a little harder and are more likely to find a pool in new-build developments or modern residential complexes. In the surrounding municipalities and along the coast, there is generally more choice and larger communal areas with swimming pools are much more common.
